Don't know who is leaving 5 star reviews, not the Asians! The food is a westerner's take on Asian food, a poor one at best. Extremely bland. Friend had the dumplings, no idea what the fillng was but it was not good. I was told about this place several years ago but kind of brushed it off.... “Vegan Asian in Brooklyn, been there, done that.” Boy was I wrong… Let's start with ambiance, cool, dimly lit, jazzy even in the afternoon. Why didn’t I come here earlier? I’ve been asking myself everyday since my first visit last week! The extensive vegan menu is absolutely mind blowing. I want to try every item on it. The relaxed and stylish interior vibes are also wonderful. I had a rice bowl and eggplant appetizer and both were amazing. The rice in the bowl was cooked just perfectly and the skewer was really flavorful with a nice texture. From a sustainability perspective, they used all reusable utensils for dine in.
