Hortus Nyc - Broad Channel

You cannot find a table if you are around the area without having a reservation.

Excellent restaurant, we had the 2 course prix fixe with wine pairing, truffle donabe was so tasty, and so was the seasonal fish. We always come here when we visit NYC.

The food is fine but think a bit overrated, or my expectation was set too high

Had a lovely lunch here. The restaurant is beautiful and the menu is unique. I wish the salmon had a little more seasoning but other than that everything we tried was cooked well and tasted good. Would return if in the area.

Food selections were excellent with a rich and extensive wine list. Visited during NYC restaurant week and enjoyed some incredible value offers. Space is nice, ambiance great. Overall thumbs up!
