Absolutely incredible eating. my partner had the vegan steak and it was the best she ever had! I had a pepperoni pizza and it was also delicious. highly recommended! it is also dog friendly!

Really super delicious takeaway last night. Am still enjoying the thought of it today. Tasty and felt healthy. Such a friendly place. Lovely man even helped me carry it back to my car. Thank you.

Atmosphere was great, food even better. We had halloumi pizza and a smoked brisket burger. Food was really good, awesome job on the brisket! Added bonus, Wednesdays are Trivia/Quiz night, so that was great too!

Popped in early on a Sunday for a roast and a pint. Warm reception from the owner. Some nice outdoor seating overlooking the green. In my opinion roasts are very hard to get right. We had beef and chicken and both were cooked really well. Loved the roast potatoes and the extra runner beans and bacon. Another great touch was the gravy for the beef and a chicken gravy for the chicken. Having moved back into the area it’s great to have this pub on our doorstep. Overall found it very welcoming and good value for money with generous portions.

Our first experience visiting Hare on the Green on Saturday. The famous pizza we kept hearing about did not disappoint and one of the best steaks we have ever had! Pleasant local pub, brilliant prices with generous portions, friendly members of staff who actually took time to speak to us as we are new to the area- giving us some recommendations, really lovely people who work here. I have never been to such a friendly little local pub, a very warm welcome to the area. We cant wait to come back already ???? x
