Taberna Belga - Braga

Great food and service. If you’re looking to have Francesinha, it’s definitely the place to go.

The best Francesinha i ever had, seriously. If you're in Braga, don't miss out. ...so good.

Taberna Belga was everything we expected. They have a better than average beer menu and the francesinha was super delicious. Note that there is a lot of sauce with it so be careful of splatters. I should not have worn a white shirt, but the waitress brought a large napkin that I could wear as a bib.

Francinesinha was outstanding. Very popular place. Staff were terrific. The experience was super. Highly recommended, however, go early, a large line forms to get in.

If anywhere in the North of Portugal you're willing to taste the best francesinha, then no doubt, it's the destination of your dreams. They don't acceot reservation, but worth queuing, trust me. I don't understand why some people are eating other dishes than francesinha, but the portion, the taste and nice staff is making it a great gastro experience.
