Restaurant bewertenBuzzz Cafe (Alona Beach Bohol Bee Farm locations) Top quality (and mostly organic) food served at their Alona Beach and Bohol Bee Farm locations. Full menu of meats, seafoods, soups, noodles, pasta pizza, salads (with edible flowers) and breakfast meals. Very good breads, muffins, spreads, and ice cream. While not cheap, fair prices for quality of food served. Wonderful beach front view at Alona Beach, and elevated waterfront view at Bohol Bee Farm location. Bohol Bee Farm location also has self walking paths to organic gardens, birds, and various stores and areas where some products are made. Also small ice cream stand just steps from Alona Beach on main access road.
Firstly we have been to the mail bee farm on Bohol and had a lovely time there , Today we went to the buzz cafe on alona beach and what a mistake that was , I had chicken and chips and it was as tough is old boots , my fiancé had a seafood lasagna , one shrimp with n the top and that was the full amount of seafood in it , we did question both meals and was never answered , not even a sorry , won’t be back , shame
This is one of the reasons why I had to go to Bohol. I had to try the famous flower salad of the Buzz café and it definitely delivered. You should also try their ice cream. We ate here 3 times when were in Bohol. That is how much we enjoyed the restaurant and the food. The people are also very welcoming although their décor could use some sprucing up as it is kind of old. They also offer great food pasalubong and other non-food items like beeswax lip gloss which I also bought for pasalubong. I just wish I could bring home their ice cream I couldn’t believe I enjoyed it so much. The food is a bit pricey for me but who cares, ang sarap!
This is a 2 floor establishment facing the beachfront alongside Alona beach. Downstairs is an ice cream kiosk and novelty food store while upstairs is an all day dining restaurant. Many options , but sad to say the items are more of a miss than hit. We shared on fish and chips , carbonara , chicken curry , cheese pizza and fish stew among others. Nice thing though is that the staff are mostly polite. Better stick to ice cream and snacks instead.
I wish I came to the place earlier in my visit, then I would have visited more. The cafe has a small storefront that doesn’t really grab your attention, but I really enjoyed eating here. I bought some halo halo and it was my favorite halo halo that I ate during my recent trip. You get to pick two flavors of ice cream, I chose ube and chocolate. The toppings aren’t typical halo halo, but I think that’s what I enjoyed. They put honey and honey cassava chips on top and the mix ins was all fresh fruit like watermelon, mango, and banana. It was so good and surprisingly not too sweet. Another person in my party ordered a fish sandwich that we thought would be a fried and battered filet, but it wasn’t! It was grilled. I read another review saying it was different than the typical food around the area and it’s true, everything was very fresh and light. The only sad part is that I visited during my last few hours on the island.
