The New Public House - BLOWING ROCK

The food was fabulous! We started with the homemade chips and beer cheese, which was very addictive. Then I had the Smashburger that was perfectly cooked. We finished our meal with the chocolate chip cookie in a small chick and the bananas groom with the rum caramel sauce. I was very happy. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing and the staff was very attentive. I love this place and everything about it!

I rarely leave reviews but I must say…I absolutely love this place. It’s such a relaxed and inviting atmosphere…whether inside or out! I’ve had super positive experiences with the staff… always kind and attentive even when they’re not our own waitress. I sincerely love going here.

No complaints. Room was as advertised and very clean. We enjoyed our breakfast and feel like the overall experience was a great value for Blowing Rock. Would definitely recommend to friends and would stay here if we came back.

The food and staff are top notch. The atmosphere is just right where I want to be. They have a locals special on Thursdays. Boom! If you're in BR, this is a great spot. It's definitely a can do experience.

Recently ate here for lunch. As a person who is not a fan of lentils they were delicious in the salad I got. Had a side of sweet potato fries with them which were also good. Highly suggest this place for local eats. Service was great too!
