In this day and age when it seems most places charge more and give less Gideon Ridge is just the opposite not cheap but the value is outstanding the staff is both professional and gracious, the rooms are extremely comfortable we were in the “Studio “ and the sitting rooms/ lounge areas are cosy with simply spectacular views can’t say enough good things about this gem of a B&B type inn exceeded our expectations in every way and we highly recommend it when traveling to Blowing Rock and environs great job guys you deserve your almost perfect Google ratings!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful evening at Gideon Inn restaurant! The food and drinks were outstanding, and Joe our server waa attentive and very good! The views were absolutely amazing! The only negative was we were celebrating a special occasion and even even though we shared it in our initial reservation, they said nothing. One thing to umprove upon.

Had a wonderful dinner this evening. After a few apps and the farmers salad along with the Brussel sprouts we finished with the duck and halibut. Everything was absolutely perfect and the service was top shelf. Obviously management has taken the time to properly train the staff because they were very knowledgeable and so helpful. Shout out to Jeremy, great job.

Peaceful, relaxing atmosphere, next level service, wonderful restaurant, and some of the best long range mountain views on the east coast. If you need to unwind, reflect, and get unattached for a bit, this is your place. At least it does all these things and more for me. I would not be making to many plans because, they will surely change after you get here.
