Weiterlesen I heard about this new Malaysian place in Northcote from a family friend and decided to check it out. We had to wait for a table at lunch time on Sunday, but it was well worth the wait. <br/ <br/ The chicken satay was not chargrilled but comes with rice cubes and cucumber and red onion – so it does make an effort to be somewhat authentic.<br/ <br/ For my main, I ordered the Wat Tan Hor – which was okay but not amazing. It’s a nice alternative to all the fried dishes that we tend to get at Malaysian restaurants.<br/ <br/ The chicken laksa was surprisingly not that spicy. However, the Songket fried noodle had a bit of spice to it.<br/ <br/ Overall, I’d be happy to come back here; the food was good, service was average but I remember the prices being pretty reasonable.

It is my first time but I will come back to try more. I had the nasi lemak.. I would give it 3.5 to 4 stars. .It was simple and nice.. N they gave extra sambal. The rice could be more flavourful...nevertheless for Nzd 9. Quite good..
