Yafo - Berlin

Ich esse in vielen Restaurants in Berlin, aber es gibt keinen anderen Ort mit einer so besonderen Atmosphäre wie im Yafo! Freundliche Kellner und Essen, das Körper und Seele wärmt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Das Yafo ist endlich zurück! Die Stimmung, wie im alten Yafo, ist lebhaft und pulsierend. Es erinnert an Tel Aviv. Es ist schön, diese Institution wieder zu haben! Das Essen ist großartig. Sogar einige köstliche Gerichte von der Shishi-Karte wurden in die neue Speisekarte übernommen.

Tolles Essen, wunderbares Personal, coole Atmosphäre. Was gibt es da noch zu wünschen? Oh, und der beste Hummus in Berlin!

I have fond memories of eating at Yafo in Mitte so I was eager for their reopening. Unfortunately, the experience was mediocre and I will need to reconsider before revisiting. A few reasons: 1) the setup was too noisy and acoustics were weird and it was often hard to hear people at my own table. (2) the portion sizes have reduced considerably — I guess some of that is unavoidable due to inflation but it felt pricy for the food. Wunderbar! Amazing place with very tasty israeli food, caring and dedicated staff, and great cocktails on top of that (the one with Arak is a very cool creation).
