Restaurant bewertenWe have been frequenting this restaurant for a while and my son enjoys it. However, I have not been pleased with the service during our last visits. The portion of cheese platter was small and overpriced at eight dollars. We were the only customers in the restaurant and despite sitting in a visible area, we were ignored. The server took our order in a mumbled manner and never returned to check on us. We were not provided with silverware or napkins, and there were no napkin holders on our table. We waited a long time for our check and when I finally went to the register, a server appeared out of nowhere. It seemed as though they did not want us there. Despite my son loving the food, I do not plan on returning anytime soon due to the subpar food quality, high prices, and poor service in my recent experiences.
Restaurant software for servers is hard to navigate. Food was excellent. Probably new waiter, didn't know where to get a ?antipasto?, she thought it was a pasta court, she wasn't familiar with the menu options to get a hoagie in a pack. The food on behalf of the service served 1 piece of meat lovers, antipasto, then the soup. This place changed the property in front of the pandemic, I gave them over 5 x to get their act together, that was the last thing I'm going to darken their door. There are too many pizza places in Bensalem to apply for such a place.
Update: You react with a general response to the human complaints. They reacted with a comment that we hope we will do it to you next time. Why should there be a next time? So unprofessional. Your reviews speak for themselves. I wouldn't be stars if possible. I went out. Has our 25. Gift card because it was old and they got a new register system. No expiry date on the map. Tell us they're new owners, same company names. They would think they would honor it to keep new customers moving into the neighborhood. Bad business ethics. They cooked it made milkshakes. We told them to keep them and we left. Unbelievable. Never come back. Valley Pizza was brilliant for us after that and told us that they could have honored our card. You said that was a bad business practice.
This restaurant used to be our favorite spot. However, with each new owner, the quality has declined significantly. The current owners are the worst we've ever experienced. After the last disappointing visit, we vowed never to return when they attempted to charge extra for basic side dishes that should have come with our meal. They even charged us for honey mustard, which was excessive. The service was poor and the food was subpar. Against our better judgment, we decided to give it another chance but were once again disappointed. This time, no one even acknowledged our presence to take our order, so we got up and left. It was a wise decision. This restaurant is now off our list for good. We miss the previous owner Chuck and the attentive server he had. Farewell forever!
I tried their meat lover pizza with thin crust for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. My friend had a vegetarian pizza with thin crust and also enjoyed it. We will definitely be returning and bringing friends. Our waitress was amazing, with a great sense of humor and engaging conversation. She clearly enjoys her job and is someone you would want working in your restaurant.
