Bell The Cat - Belfast

One of the nicest deli's in Americaĺ. Service is exceptional. Please try it if you're near Belfast Maine.

Busy but a great place to go for a meet up or quick bite. Food is awesome.

We checked out Bell the Cat and i was rather disappointed with it in multiple ways. I ordered the corn beef hash with toast and over easy eggs. The toast was too cold to melt the butter at all and the toast was pretty tough. The eggs were cooked over hard instead of over easy. I wasn't a fan of the corned beef hash, but the flavor could just be not for me. I do think the corned beef hash should be better described on the menu as i was essentially expecting regular corned beef hash, instead I got big cubed potatoes and large chunks of corned beef, neither of which i cared for or expected. I also tried my SOs chicken and waffles and found the chicken breading to be chalky and not good. The waffle was thi very fluffy and delicious.I also dislike being asked to tip before service is provided and really dont think a tip is appropriate to ask for when the customer has to order at the counter and get their own drinks. I would recommend to stay away from this place.

Beautiful place, tasty food. Concept of ordering at the counter but table service a little complicated for nothing.

We had their eggs Benedict country benedi ct. Perfectly poached eggs, flavorful sausage gravy, crispy hash overall super tasty. I'm giving 4 stars because the country Benedict came out partially cold unevenly heated. Good vibes, nice staff, outdoor seating. Ordering is at the counter waiter/waitress will bring the food.
