Duke & Devines - Beaconsfield

I love the kilts. Beyond that, the food is above average for pub. I have been there a few times but unfortunately portions are not always what they should be. Once, my husband had a beef stew and his plate contained no more than 2 bitesize pieces of meat. Meal-size salads are nowhere big enough. However, other dishes such as chicken curry poutine or salmon tartar are just great.

Appetizers are amazing, try the crab/shrimp dip! Burgers are delicious & the fish tacos! They have healthy beer, affordable drinks and amazing desserts!

Had the salmon and my partner had the fried chicken. The salmon was excellent as was the chicken. The staff was pleasant, helpful and efficient. Desert was ice cream and blue berry turnover. Also very good. Good imported Irish beer. Returned the following day for lunch.

I really enjoyed the seared tuna here, so much so that my constant comments probably annoyed the people who I was dining with.

The food was not good. We have come when it just opened and it was much better at the beginning. Also some of the beers are discontinued.
