Restaurant bewertenI stopped by for a late breakfast at this charming restaurant that also has a large gift shop. I decided to try their vegan waffle with vegan haggis and scotch bonnet ketchup. They also had a couple of vegan cake options, so I indulged in both. The chocolate and ginger cake was so delicious that I forgot to take a photo before devouring it. I also got a chocolate and raspberry torte to go, which was equally tasty.
I also treated myself to a delightful coconut caramel ice coffee and was happy to see they had three vegan cake options available. The restaurant also offers extensive choices for gluten-free diners. The staff were friendly and attentive, making for an enjoyable dining experience. I would definitely consider returning in the future.
I stopped by this lovely little place for a late breakfast. They have a fairly large gift shop. I ordered a waffle and asked if it was vegan, which it was. I had it with vegan haggis and scotch bonnet ketchup. They also had a couple of vegan cake options, so I tried both. I enjoyed the chocolate and ginger cake, and before I remembered to take a photo, it was as delicious as the chocolate and raspberry torte I had.
I visited this restaurant in July and was pleased to find that there were 6 vegan options on the menu: a vegan breakfast, haggis toastie, roast veg toastie, salad, and 2 soups of the day. I decided to order the haggis panini and found it to be easy to eat and quite delicious. The salad originally came with non-vegan Caesar salad dressing, but the staff quickly and willingly changed it when I asked. It's important for customers to communicate their dietary preferences when ordering sandwiches. Additionally, I treated myself to a coconut caramel ice cream, which was delightful, and enjoyed the selection of 3 vegan cake options. There was also an extensive selection for gluten-free diners. The staff was friendly and attentive, making my overall experience a positive one. I would definitely consider returning to this restaurant. (Updated by previous review on 2021-07-27)
Stopped by for a late breakfast at this charming restaurant located in a picturesque square. The gift shop onsite is fairly large and worth a browse. I tried their vegan waffle with vegan Haggis and Scotch bonnet ketchup, and it was delicious. They also had a couple of vegan cake options, so I tried both the chocolate and ginger cakes. I enjoyed them so much that I almost forgot to take a photo, but managed to snap a picture of the tasty chocolate and raspberry cake. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience.
