As had been recently recommended, and the views on this page were very positive, I decided to invite a family member who came to visit Badajoz, and we were very disappointed. Los camareros hacen honor al nombre del bar.. Vaya Skakeo. El servicio lentisimo y farragoso. La comida buena pero un poco escasa por el precio.
Doy una estrella porque no hay menos. Decepción total, ibamos camino a un concierto en el Festival de Flamenco y Fado y teníamos solo unos 20/30 mins para tomar unas tapas rápidas y salir para el auditorio. Llegamos a las 21:45h y habia unas pocas mesas con gente y más de 20 mesas vacías y toda la barra libre. Preguntamos al camarero que había en la puerta y nos dijo que tenía todo reservado ¿? Y que sin reserva no podiamos comer. Le insistimos en que iba a ser algo muy rapido porque teníamos prisa y no le ibamos a ocupar ni siquiera una mesa porque nos ibamos a poner en barra si era necesario. Nos pone muy mala cara y nos vuelve a decir que no y que está todo reservado. Habiamos ido porque leimos que era de los mejores valorados, pero vamos, que 100% seguro que no volveremos. La calidad de un restaurante no se mide solo por la comida.
Anteriormente en otra ubicación, amplían local y se nota el esfuerzo por seguir trabajando duro cada día… Con ello han conseguido un amplio establecimiento en el que siguen trabajando para acompañar esos ideales platos que nos ofrecen, entre los que se encuentran las míticas ensaladas “fusión” (destacable las virutas de foie), langostinos en tempura, las chuletillas de cordero empanadas… entre un amplio surtido de jugosos platos… La atención es indiscutible, y el precio es asequible para todos los bolsillos… por lo que todo apunta a una inmejorable trayectoria. Enhorabuena!
