The Doughminican - Austin

The food here is incredibly flavorful and fresh! The pineapple drink is especially refreshing. I tried both the beef and chicken empanadas, and they were delicious. I also ordered tostones (fried plantains) along with dipping sauces for both the tostones and empanadas. Everything tasted fantastic and was bursting with flavor!

I would highly recommend this restaurant due to its beautiful location and great seating and food options. However, I arrived at 12:35 and found it closed. I’m not sure if this is typical for Austin, but I encountered a few other places that were also closed. Hopefully, I can try again next time!

The empanadas are plump and delicious, and the refreshing juice perfectly complements them. The friendly service adds to the experience, all set in a charming outdoor area. Plus, the name of the place is delightful!

The doughminican and is an amazing place to lunch. we know the owner personally and he's always kind. they usually have to wait about 15 minutes or so eat for her, but it is 100% worth it, everything is so good.

Killer empanadas with the chicken as my favorite. The owner is super nice and hospitable. Love this place!
