Ma'coco - Austin

Mediocre food, terribly loud, priceish, not a Friday night date place. Lots of kids and 6+ groups.

Had a reservation here but was asked to sit at the bar even though there were plenty of tables open. Got seated right next to the bar station which is never ideal and very disruptive. We didn’t have a waiter, just the bartender, and she never checked in on us we were never asked if we wanted more drinks or dessert and had to ask for water twice. Food was good but would love more options that includes meats besides carne asada. Would potentially come back since this is in my neighborhood and it’s a cute vibe but very displeased with the service overall.

Try the fries! Super good! Awesome location if you want to walk around east side later. Drinks were strong and they split the check! Definitely will be going back to try the Cali burrito!

The ceviche was delicious the watermelon cocktail was awesome! The fish tacos were battered perfectly but they are a large dish! (Not complaining haha)

Birthday lunch, good food, great drinks dessert. Only complaints were it was a bit chilly inside on a cold day, fruit flies.
