Restaurant bewertenDos Batos in Austin offers great food, but the tacos are a bit pricey for their size. The pollo and steak tacos were both tasty, but the steak stood out as the better choice. Lively atmosphere and friendly service make it a great choice for a quick biteFood: 5/5
Just moved to Austin and found my favorite taco place after trying a few others. Dos Batos is very consistent in their food, it tastes amazing! Never been disappointed. The corn is also to die for, so delicious! Take out is quick and easy.Food: 5/5
This is the only taco restaurant I've been to in Austin that serves wood fire smoked meat on their tacos, which is very special. Hence, I've been taking friends here for that and they all seem to like it too.Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
I tried this place out on a whim seeking out some nachos. I prefer melted queso instead of shredded cheese on mine and this spot met my preference. I found the nachos to be reasonably priced at about $10. This includes your choice of meat, queso, jalapeños (fresh not pickled), beans, avocado and corn over a bed of chips. The quality and quantity is an amazing value! The meat is tender and has a nice flavor. The queso was simple with very minimal flavor however with the other toppings it all balanced out. I added extra queso for a reasonable $1.50 which made my chip to cheese ratio perfect. The staff were professional and my food was delivered quickly. It was lunch time and only 2 other people were there when I arrived. It did pick up before I left. I enjoyed the music selection I found it to be upbeat. I would definitely return to try the cheese wrapped taco and more nachos.
Dos Batos is one of my favorite fast-casual restaurants! The magic begins with their wood-fired grill and mesquite. My go-to tacos are Pirate and Ostin. One over-stuffed taco and a side of complimentary chips salsa is plenty for me. Never too crowded, but always buzzing with good music, excellent service, and happy customers. Always a joy!
