This delightful little restaurant offers fantastic, fresh, and flavorful dishes along with generous portions of coffee. They cater to special dietary needs like gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegetarian options. The owner/chef is friendly and accommodating.

We wanted to meet up with some friends at this cafe. It is always a beautiful and welcoming place, and the owner is friendly. We really appreciate the decor, the books, the couch, and the unique floor coverings. The coffee and snacks are also fantastic.

You get the impression of an intellectual hangout. many books and a comfortable couch to crash. the coffee is good and fresh, the snacks are excellent.

On the Bean is as authentic as you can get when it comes to the coffee house experience. I've been going there for over a decade and have always found it to be very friendly (even as it transitioned from one owner to another), comfortable...(in a home-like way), and tasty. A wonderful contrast to the coffee chains that dominate our urban landscapes these days. Why go to a Starbucks or Tims when you can get the real experience at On the Bean?
