We live here. I don't visit very often and then I do and remember why I don't. I just think with their prices, the food would be better. I got huevos rancheros and beans were scarce while the ample rice was just oily. So oily. What really gets me is the plates. During the pandemic they started using paper plates. It's 4 years later and they STILL use paper plates. You can spend over $30 and be eating off a paper plate. It's just tacky. No one else (sit down) in town is doing the paper plate thing. Only thing I do recommend here is the cocktails.
Food was okay and I appreciate the vegan options! Not very kid friendly- no high chair, no kids menu, no small side dishes to order. We ended up ordering a macaroni and cheese that was actually bowtie noodles, which is fine for an adult, but hangry child was not happy. I would probably give it another try if I left the kids at home.
Favorite place to dine in Astoria! Their Rock Fish Tacos are fresh and delicious! Always the first thing I recommend! The bar tender is a true Mixologist, an exceptional master of his craft!!!
