Restaurant bewertenOMG, this place was excellent. The service was perfect and the food was even better. The staff was helpful, attentive and friendly, without being intrusive. We loved the Escargot, European bread, salmon and a huge, wonderful Bouillabaisse seafood dish. The dessert menu was a little disappointing as a French restaurant, but our cheese cake selection was wonderful. We're back at any time!
The menu was a bit pricier than expected, but completely worth it. The restaurant is small and welcoming, with a comfortable outdoor area as well. The waitress was kind, came by regularly, and made great suggestions, which we took. Everything we had tasted delicious, including the pâté plate, the escargo, and a mocha cheesecake. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more.
I go to this lovely spot a lot! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I visit this spot frequently. The meals are very tasty, the staff is courteous and the payment is affordable. I like being in this spot for a tasty supper.
We had high hopes for this restaurant since we live nearby and my wife has a love for French cuisine. However, after two visits, we won’t be coming back for a third. Where do I begin? The receptionist was quite unprofessional, eating and drinking at her station. While the waitstaff was friendly, they lacked competence. The food was average at best, and the dining area was too noisy for a cozy or romantic evening. The service from the kitchen was painfully slow; I waited over 45 minutes for my duck. I’ve had better bread in a sandwich shop. My salad was uninspiring, and for vegetarians, the menu options are extremely limited. On the positive side, my wife enjoyed her main course, Bouillabaisse, which is the “special” on Friday nights. The crepe we had for dessert was decent, but the portion was far too small. If you're looking for a truly delightful French meal, it's worth the extra 15-minute drive to Center City.
I had to call the restaurant five times before anyone picked up. When I arrived, the hostess was a bit disheveled and rather curt. We did have a pleasant French waiter who provided good service, but he could have been more knowledgeable about the menu. We started with soup and escargot. The onion soup was the highlight of the meal, while the escargot was rubbery and tasteless. For main courses, the coq au vin was quite dry and lacking in flavor, and the steak was fatty and seemed old. The frites were hard, cold, and definitely not fresh. We didn’t even stay for dessert. Although the waiter was nice, I would not return, as the quality of the food was absolutely terrible!
