Restaurant bewertenThere is no vegan option on the menu, but the cook has offered us 2 options: a salad with falafels and a risotto. We both have one side of sweet potatoes. I would certainly recommend the salad. Updated by previous review on 2021-08-20
When we arrived, we asked the waitress about the vegan options and she said that there was a salad and a falafel dish that they could make vegan. She also went to the kitchen to check with the cook and came back and said the cook could also make us a vegetable risotto if we prefer it. We were really touched and ordered the Falafel and Risotto. Both were delicious. Instead, they dig out the creamy sauce on the Flafel dish with a herby sauce. We would recommend this place if you stop in Andenes.
They offer about 5 vegan meals, of which I tried 3 they were all made with love and very well tasted! I especially liked the mushroom starter and the grilled vegetables. If you just go there, they will only give you the usual menu without vegan options. So you need to ask the service for vegan food and they will bring you a completely new vegetarian / vegan menu. They also told me that every vegetarian dish can be prepared as a vegan.
There are no vegan options listed on the menu, however, the chef kindly offered us two options: a salad with falafels and a risotto. We decided to try both dishes along with a side of sweet potato fries. I would definitely recommend the salad. Review updated on August 20, 2021.
Upon arrival, we inquired with the waitress about vegan options at the restaurant. She informed us that they could prepare a salad and a falafel dish as vegan options. She then consulted with the chef in the kitchen and suggested a risotto as another vegan option. We were impressed by their willingness to accommodate us and decided to order the falafel and risotto. Instead of the creamy sauce on the falafel, they served it with a delicious herby sauce. We would recommend this place to others if they continue to offer such wonderful options.
