Restaurant bewertenWe always drove past this place and it was a rainy day and decided to stop. We were handed over menus and selected a place to eat and the lady took our drinks order before we sat down. Although the place did not seem busy, they were BUSY. It took something to get our food, but the lady who served us explained before we ordered food. It was finally playing day for a football. When we came out of food, it was fresh and delicious. It tastes on par with another pizza facility, but more affordable for a price. Next time? I'll get a dessert pizza. Clean, quiet for most of the food.
Today, I ordered two 12? pizzas and 1 diet soda. I don?t usually partake in soda beverages but when I do it?s once in a blue moon and I typically get diet. This is because I am a diabetic so for me, having something that?s close to what I wish I could have is an absolute treat. One pizza was for my boyfriend; regular pepperoni and mushroom. For me, I ordered a plain pepperoni but with their cauliflower crust. Both very delicious and I have always recommend them to our friends because their pizzas are delicious. Now, circling back to me ordering a diet soda? I know this part may seem like I?m making a big deal out of nothing but hence why I made the statement that even something as simple as a diet soda is a treat for me. When we received the order, the pizzas were still hot and fresh which is perfect. However, we got a regular soda instead of diet. I wasn?t the one who answered the door so my boyfriend wasn?t quick to pushback the service. Realizing this once the items were placed in our dining room, I obviously checked the receipt. They recorded it as I requested but what I?m annoyed about is not receiving what I ordered and it just tarnishes my previously positive reviews. One may think this is over the top but for someone like me who takes ordering out very seriously, I believe my upset is valid. We do not order out very often. When we do, it?s usually because I?m exhausted. Anyway, I called the pizzeria and expressed my concern and was told a manager would be taking care of it. I even told them they can charge me for an additional beverage and I was already planning on tipping the driver again. But, an hour and a half goes by. At this point, I?m angry about two things: not getting what I ordered and not getting a follow up. If this is how we treat customers who support local, then I absolutely hope this doesn?t happen further and to other customers. Especially when you?re paying almost 50 bucks for two 12? pizzas. Some people would let a diet soda go?. And then there are some who care about principal and going the extra mile in making a negative experience into a positive one which unfortunately missed the mark.
Ordered a pizza yesterday after trying one from the Old Seward branch and wanting to try something else from the menu. Would 've liked to have tried what I ordered but instead what I got was lies and disappointment. An hour passed after the delivery time and I called to ask what the hold up was only to be told it was just out the oven and on the way.. half hour passes and then call again.. employee said the pizza left five minutes ago which I knew was a lie... call again after another half an hour to see what 's happening and was lied to once again... Three hours later with no pizza I asked for my money back after it was clear I wouldn 't be receiving an order anytime soon.. lots of we 're very behind which I understand these days.. but I don 't think it 's a good idea to lie to your customers multiple times after hours of excuses and no pizza.. I wouldn 't be writing this if they were truthful from the beginning.. I would 've even came and picked it up myself.. Anywho don 't make it standard practice to lie about what 's going on when you work in the service industry. I hope whoever else ordered something from this particular location got a pizza within 5 hours of ordering.
Food is great and staff is super friendly. The place is pretty quite too. They do seem to be short staffed and food does take a bit to come out but we didn?t mind the wait.
My husband and I had recently tried a couple amazing pizzas from the Old Seward Hwy location over the previous weekend and absolutely loved it. In fact, We liked it so much that we decided to place an order for pick up a few days later at this Tudor location much closer to home. It smelled so delicious on the drive home. But when my family sat down to eat all we found was a semi decent top layer and an over cooked and hard, semi burnt and chewy bottom layer on 3 of the 4 pizzas, the 4th was just over done and hard. So so disappointed and upset. We still haven?t eaten all the left overs and it?s been almost a week, normally any leftover pizza would be gone by the next morning, but these leftovers are trash bound for sure. We?ve had so much better from even our worst order from Pizza Hut and Dominos, and that?s saying a lot. On top of that, the worker upfront was less than friendly, she took my name, grabbed my order and just set the pizzas down and walked away, well alrighty then, I guess this is my order? So many bad vibes and overall left a bad taste in my mouth.
