Restaurant bewertenPositive: delicious food. Otherwise, Steer clear of Peggy’s Restaurant on 5th Avenue! No masks. Susie, waitress, wiping her nose with a Kleenex and then while holding the dirty tissue in her hand, she was touching clean plates, glasses, and food. She took a maple syrup container off of a dirty table directly to folks at another table. Same with a ketchup bottle. Tables were dirty, as was the tableware. No mask on cook either. Some guy off the street came in and helped himself to the ice bin and soda dispenser. Nasty! I’ll never go back.
I had been searching for a place to have sourdough pancakes and finally found it at Peggy 's. I hadn 't been back to Alaska for 47 years and somewhere in my memory I remembered, Peggy 's Airport Cafe ! Granted some of the decor is that old at Peggy 's but the service was fantastic and welcoming and also the sourdough pancake sandwich was awesome! Very good!
The people working there are nice and helpful Coralie, and Crystal Great items to chose from the menu. Good prices and good food.
Peggys used to be a good place for decent food at a relatively cheap price, not anymore. The prices have gone up 2-3$. Its not worth paying that much more to eat in a dumpy place.
I was in from the boonies of Alaska and a friend took me to one of the places that was dine-in at ANCH and we went to Peggy's. I'm glad we did, I had a Denver omelet and it was excellent. I enjoyed watching the small planes take off from Merrill Field and the traffic going by, as I am from the boonies of Alaska.
