Chicken Shack - Anchorage

Try the Chicken Shack!! Shack Tennessee Hot Chicken!! Upgraded to Firebird! Was very pleasant and much heat!! Open sins beautifully ordered a side of Firebird to dive the Fritten!! Loved the frits and beautiful homemade Chicken Biscuit Sandwich with salad

The chicken was raw in the middle on multiple pieces. Got macaroni and it?s a 5/10, Popeyes is better if that puts it into perspective. Also ordered mashed potatoes and gravy, 7/10, the gravy was a little different than what I was expecting but it wasn?t bad.

Food and service was exemplary! Brianna was a very friendly and knowledgeable server and very attentive! The food was cooked perfectly. (I had the standard burger the house made fries were seasoned well but not over seasoned, crispy but not over cooked : And where most places skimp on the pickle; They made sure there was plenty of pickle for the whole sammich! The beer selection was spot on; they even had Monks Mistress from Midnight Sun Brewery! A personal favorite! As well as IPA's from Kings street and beers from Denali brewing. I only regret I was too full to try their house made bread pudding; but a reason to go back! That and the chicken and biscuit sandwich which looked divine! If you're looking for a good local place I suggest heading to the Chicken Shack!

The chicken and waffles was to die for! Will be coming back to try more items! Loved the beer and wine list too.

The food was so good, the ingredients are fresh, and the services was great, highly recommend!
