Restaurant bewertenWe were taken here as part of a tour. We had no idea the prices. The waiter suggested we have grouper head with noodles. They said it was the part of the fish they threw out so I thought it would be cheaper. There were 4 of us and they made a large pot of 'stew ' with noodles and meat. It was ok, but it cost 135 euros. We would never have ordered it at that price as it was not anything we really wanted. Disappointed. We had soup which was fine and cheap as well. We did see others eat a very fancy display of seafood, but this is not the lunch we were expecting.
Went with family during a trip to see the waves! Could not recommend enough. Diogo was our waiter and he was so kind and helpful with the menu. Would recommend the seafood rice and the grilled squid.
Great food, often served with very creative, almost folkloric, presentation. The restaurant is very spacious and filled with windows, so it does not seem cramped or super-spreading. Nice selection of wine and the beer is served quite delightfully cold. We really enjoyed both the couvert and the dessert offerings, as well as the main courses The waiters are welcoming and efficient, though they seem a little slow to ask about refills on alcoholic beverages, perhaps not wanting to be pushy, but still... Full value for the price!
The food was nice and not expensive. The staff was also nice and helpful. I would recommend this restaurant when visiting Nazare.
I have been visiting Sitio/Nazare for several years for four to six weeks with my family From the first week iI was there many years ago this restaurant was recommended to me so every year we went a number of times sometimes taking business associates of mine who had a villa near Nazare. it was always very good the fish excellent and the staff who were the same every year always remembered us some how. So when we arrived this year I went to the restaurant to book a table for the Saturday night the first thing i noticed was that all the staff had gone and been replaced which i thought was odd a young waiter came to me who spoke good English and a asked him for a table for 8pm he said no I could have 7.30pm or 9pm so I said 9pm and left. We arrived on the Saturday a little early at 8.45pm the same waiter came to me I gave him my name and said I had a reservation for 9. He then said he had told me 9 or 9 30 and I could not have a table till then there were a number of empty tables and I said I had booked for 9. By this time it was 8.50 he just said we could wait outside in the street until 9.30 (it was raining) We left you would have thought in these difficult times they would want ever customer they could get its a shame as we have had some great nights there with English and Portuguese friends but never again
