Restaurant bewertenWe always order from here for once a girl answered she wasn’t so nice. We ordered about a dozen of tacos and didn’t get any limes and all she could say was “it happens” I understand that but for a dozen tacos. Can’t miss it. I was in town for conference and had an evening on my own. I ventured out and found Poki Poki Cevicheria, a Mexican Hawaiian fusion featuring build your own bowls. After chatting with the staff, I opted for the Boss Bowl a spicy bowl that has tortilla chips yes, chips. The bowl was a healthy portion and great flavor. Since I'm not a fan of jalapeño, I opted for more edamame. The space is large and full of tables with colorful murals.
My literal only complaint about this place is that it's just as expensive to get vegan/vegetarian bowls and it's about 60% rice. It's VERY good, the tea is great, I've never ever been upset about anything I've ordered from there before and it's delicious, but for almost $20 for a bowl is a little rough with the portions. It's VERY good food and I order it all the time, very rarely ever had an issue.
Food was fresh and tasty. Ambiance comfortable, restaurant clean. Employees friendly and professional. However, the value for the meal, even the large isn 't worth the expense. I was disappointed with the quantity of toppings; however, I think a manager/owner was hawking the assembly line, so everything was measured to the Nth degree. If you asked for a little bit more ginger or green peas (for example), Sure, but that 's an up charge. IMO it shouldn 't be $80+ for four bowls and fountain drinks...and then leave hungry. Ownership is likely pricing themselves out of business. Good luck.
