Restaurant bewertenWent for breakfast with my family, a total of six people, I asked if possible to have something that was not on the menu, and was advised yes. Orders came out one at a time, with at least three minutes in between each one. My order came last and was not what I ordered. I asked if possible to get a ham and cheese omelet , I got ham, cheese, peppers and onions. I got told that was what was on the menu.....it is not on the menu, that is why I asked it it was possible to get. Now by the time this order came, the first two people were finished their meal, I was asked if I wanted another one, I declined as I could not ask the others to sit there for half an hour when they were finished. The manager's attitude was that type of omelet always comes that way. I am a senior who has ordered this combination numerous times and never has it come with the extras. We had gone to this restaurant numerous times, however we will never go back.
Wifey and I call this place our place . We went back after they changed owners and boy was it a good decision. They have an omelette called the mish mash which is huge and tasty. Nothing on this menu will disappoint you. The sandwiches are excellent, the breakfast options will totally satisfy and the service staff is experienced. Once you 've tried it, you will make the iDaybreak Grill your place too.
The food was average. I wasn 't thrilled with the restaurant. I 've eaten here before, just at another location. Similiar to a Sunset Grill, very similiar. Service was quick, and I did see the cook prepare my food which was good. I read the paper and ate my meal peacefully and quietly. The restaurant didn 't have alot of customers, however it is brand new, and with time that could change. I wasn 't really happy with the colour scheme. I know it 's about the food, but the colour of the restaurant is a drab yellow. I understand the Daybreak yellow theme, however choose another yellow, or change the lighting, my opinion! Some may not care. Anyway, back to the food. I had their Daybreak Special which consists of exactly what your thinking...eggs, home fries...etc...etc..etc...use your imagination. No fruits though. The entire experience from opening the restaurant door to walking back into my car was quick, easy and painless. If your looking for a place to prepare a meal on the go , especially being minutes to the 401, then this could be your place. I may go back one day, when I don 't feel like cooking bacon and eggs.
My husband and I ate here while waiting for my car to be serviced down the road at Endras the shuttle driver dropped us off and picked us up). It was a delicious breakfast hot and fresh and served promptly. We will definitely return.
Decided to eat here before xmas shopping and it was delicious. I ate the Mish mash omelette which was huge, I could only eat half. It came with home fries and toast. As mentioned in a previous post the coffee was great. Total bill $14.29. Would highly recommend
