Weiterlesen I work in the CBD and was so happy when I came across Miki Beautiful Sushi after trying so many places that were so hit and miss. I always go for the black rice options as they taste so good and are healthier than the...normal white rice. They seem to be the only sushi place offering a good amount of black rice. I don't understand why they haven't attracted a large crowd by now over other sushi options on their street (I have tried them all this one is the best) but hopefully word of mouth spreads. Always fresh sushi and they keep them separate with plastic so you don't get unwanted food. Nice sizes and prices!

Weiterlesen Yes Thai is my favourite cuisine and lately l can’t seem to get enough of it. Visited yet another beautiful Thai restaurant in West End and l was so blown away with Siam Samrarn. It was so beautiful and it honestly felt like l was in...a Thailand.  It’s been around since 2008 and so had a constant flow of regular customers and l can see why now…the food was great. Beautiful and authentic Thai cuisine followed with sweet and humble customer service. Meal breakdown: Thai Fish cakes Spring rolls Chicken Satay Paw paw salad with crispy prawns Tofu Stir Fry Duck red curry Thai fried rice It can be quite tricky finding parking in West End but Siam Samrarn is conveniently located next to Coles therefore has lot’s of parking spaces available. Well worth the visit.

Although the service is good we found nothing else outstanding whatsoever-oh other than the fresh green chilli on request which gave the food a bit of zing!!

Weiterlesen I meant to visit this Japanese restaurant for a while. Not until Hosokawa San came to my workplace telling me that he started to work as the master of the work team of the restaurant, I told him that I would be there very soon. Took the New Year Eve opportunity and booked a table for celebration. We arrived around and there were already many tables being occupied. They led us to the designated table at the corner, which provided us very good privacy. After we perused the menu, we then started our food journey. First came the large sashimi platter. Needless to say, the thick cut sashimi totally satisfied my palate. All of the sudden, Hosokawa San brought us a plate of nigiri on the house. It was a good surprise to us. Toro on the nigiri was very fresh and yummy?. Another surprise was the jumbo gyoza. Pastry was thin and crispy and the fillings were very juicy. We were lucky to have the last order of black cod of the year because the restaurant would be closing ten days for New Year holiday. The black cod texture was bouncing and refreshing. The other dish of duck breast was not bad at all; however we still prefer to have it done in French cuisine. It was just a personal choice.

Wir kamen gerade an, als der Ansturm nachließ, aber die beiden Kellner im Restaurant wurden eindeutig zugeschlagen. Glücklicherweise fanden sie uns einen Tisch, da der Platz sehr zu empfehlen war. Das Personal entschuldigte sich sehr für die Wartezeit, aber es war nicht wirklich so schlimm und die Qualität des Essens war fantastisch. Auf jeden Fall empfehlen, hier zu frühstücken oder zu brunchen, wenn Sie in der Stadt sind. Meins war knapp 8 Euro und beinhaltete frische Backwaren, ein Omelett, Schinken, Käse, Kaffee und Saft.
