Weiterlesen The last station on our main street restaurant culinary tour was not worth the price tag of a long shot. during the service was good and the atmosphere nice, our cocktails were moderate (especially the strawberry balms, which tasted like a daiquiri, honest), the crab cakes were small and nothing special (the sauce above tasted like the sauce on the pork that the fish specialist on this day had been), caprese salat melted like the what I could make for a I really wanted to like this place. but I just didn't. fortunately, I had great company so that the evening was not a total loss.

The menu now is simplified and the portion is 1/2 or 1/3 compare to previous owner. If you looking for a fast and cheap dinner, it’s still ok but not as cheap as before. We can literally bought 1 dish for 2 of us before. Now it’s not the case anymore.

I only have a not big pho with excessively fat meat, but that was a bad experience in five years and all the others at the table was in order, it was just mine I wish they would serve bubble tea again.

Weiterlesen Small, unassuming location in Kensington Market yielded an amazing lunch. I'm almost vegan and it can be challenging to find acceptable meals. We decided to give this place a try. They had the most amazing homemade pumpkin soup, with edamame and tofu, that I have...ever eaten, even at vegetarian/vegan specialty restaurants. This was a highlight to an otherwise disappointing trek around the Market Healthy, fresh options for lunch or a very light dinner abound. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Weiterlesen I have been going to Pho Tien Thanh for a few years now. I much prefer it over Pho Rua Vang Golden Turtle down the road (might I add that Golden Turtle now charges for their tea, whereas Pho Tien Thanh provides complimentary tea - hot tea in the winter; and refreshing cold tea in the summer). I also find that Golden Turtle's noodles in the pho taste plasticky...The pho at Tien Thanh, however, is fantastic. The broth is delicious on its own and has a certain wholesomeness to it. It's like getting a hug from the inside. I have also tried their dry noodle dishes topped with various meats and/or spring rolls. Everything is tasty. Food is promptly delivered. Great value overall. Highly recommend.
