Wenn Sie auf der Suche nach echtem, authentischem Schweizer Essen sind, finden Sie es hier. Am besten im Sommer finden Sie in ihrem großen Garten mit Tischen unter großen Bäumen eine große Auswahl an lokalen Köstlichkeiten und lokalen Weinen. Die Preise sind nicht günstig, aber auch nicht überteuert und das Essen ist durchweg gut. Mit Familie und Freunden fühlt man sich wie auf dem Land in guten alten Zeiten.

Tolle Lage, besonders im Sommer mit einem schönen Essbereich im Freien. Auch im Winter ist das Innere nicht schlecht. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Essen war gut. Ich habe ein Problem mit einer Speisekarte, die wahrscheinlich hundert verschiedene Gerichte auflistet. Wie kann jemand all diese Zutaten parat haben? Am besten frisch!!

While staying in Sihl City in Zurich I was longing for some good old-fashioned Swiss/German style of food. Not the modern twisted food the restaurants in moden Sihl City provide. Luckily one stop away on the S4 train line (Brunau) was Muggenbuehl.It was busy but no problem to get a table for myself. The fact that many older Swiss were eating there with friends and having a good time was a good sign and I was not disappointed. There is a separate room for smokers and 2 rooms for non-smokers. The menu is very extensive!I had the cordon bleu which was very tasty, and I got my food within 10 minutes! Prices are also quite moderate for Swiss standards. My portion was also quite big, had trouble finishing it.So I can really recommend this place, also from a price-quality point of view. Also nice to spend an evening with friends.

The Muggenbühl is a really nice place to eat if you want to try some typical swiss food. But they also have dishes for everyone else. The menu is huge!I really like the place. It is very clean, the staff is nice and professional and the food is really good. It might be a little pricey (well, it is in Switzerland) but worth it.

Luckily it was my first time in this restaurant and I cant compare with past times. I found this restaurant excellent. The portions are huge, one has a feeling one is in Germany and not in Zurich. Delicious meat and fish. So be careful and dont eat bread at the beginning, althoug bread is also very tasty. And good news for those who smoke : you can still smoke in this reastaurant! and the air-conditioning works perfectly. One can hardy feel the smell. However, we didnt eat in the smoking part although one could.All in all we had great time at this place!
