A good, friendly time in this simple restaurant with quality culinary services. Good value for money. Welcoming staff. To advice Parking: Plenty of space for supermarket parking Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5
Well, the exterior doesn 't look like much..., we are simply an extension of the Intermarché building. But once through the door the visual is much more pleasant. The room is large but well appointed and pleasant with a nice decoration. The welcome is as professional as it is warm, good impressions are confirmed with a simple but attractive menu, and the offering of individualized cocktails. When taking an order, the first doubts appear because despite the advertised home cuisine, the first dish with its eloquent title raises questions... A perfect egg with porcini mushrooms and foie gras... There we say to ourselves we have come across a gourmet restaurant disguised as a market bistro... But upon learning that the porcini mushrooms are dehydrated, the dream collapses, and doubts set in. The choice goes towards chipirons with parsley, but discovering that they are also offered as a dish with belly 20€ the idea germinates. Of course we must forget the potential choice of lamb shank with rosemary €29 , grilled beef, ... For children, we offer chopped steak, nuggets or hamburgers and fries. With very good homemade fries and a fresh minced steak, the children are delighted, except that we did not ask them for the cooking point one and only small criticism for the whole service; but this oversight becomes a habit, the majority of waiters thinking that all children eat their minced meat well cooked . Serving the squids our eyes meet at the table..., the smell of parsley is VERY powerful and the flattened and pinkish appearance of the squids appeals... It 's hard to believe in a plate of fresh squids,..., we is more likely to be found with a brined product or equivalent. Well the sweet potato puree is excellent, but the new potatoes are neither new nor delicious steamed/boiled probably , but the most distressing are these squids whose flavor is in line with the appearance, but which are in any case crushed by a disproportionate volume of parsley! We eat garlic with squids, and we eat it an hour and a half later... Doubts therefore accumulate over the course of the meal and we say to ourselves that it will be wise to come back at lunchtime to take advantage of the buffet formula and daily specials with very fresh products. So a big culinary disappointment but an exceptional welcome which encourages me to give 4 stars while waiting for a new visit.
Everything is homemade, which is very nice. A little disappointed by the pasta gratin which has a particular texture, and which can make you think of leftover pasta repackaged as a gratin. And the chocolate tart crust which was barely cooked. But nice restaurant, and experience on other dishes to try! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
