Carpe Diem - Zakynthos

I found this little gem thanks to Happy Cow. We spent a day visiting laganas and headed here for dinner. The decor is lovely and quite unique. The restaurant is very clean. The waiting staff are very helpful. There is a vegan and gluten free menu which is varied. I had a chickpea burger which was good. There is even a vegan dessert on the menu (sadly I couldn't sample this as it had gluten in it! but the strawberry sorbet was nice. I would definitely recommend.

Good service, I chose the Risotto, it was good, for the big eaters it might not be enough. Nice place next to the beach, good chairs and place.

The food is very good and the waiters are nice. The cook looks very strict with the recipes, he doesn't want to add or remove anything from them.

They have a whole page of the menu with vegan tellers, such as hummus and tzatziki with pita or a really good hamburger. it is also in a central location near the sea.

We visited here the last night of our holiday! it has not disappointed us! it was worth the visit! not too expensive and super delicious!
