Restaurant bewertenFirst, the outside is beautiful, especially on our evening there. The interior is very welcoming and the server was very pleasant. The restaurant was not full, so the choice of seating was easy and our tables at a window overlooking a small fountain. Very peaceful. Although the dishes and drinks were expensive, the food was delicious and the drinks were perfectly made. The welcoming atmosphere, fantastic service, delicious food and great drinks made this place a winner. I'll be back to the future. Great work.
Very disappointed!!! We were served our drinks and soup, and almost an hour from the waiter did not hear how long it took to get our steak. The ribbed eye was terrible. It looked like Carne Asada and was placed on my potatoes. My husband also has a side of grilled mushrooms with onions, but looked like onions with 5 mushrooms. The place wasn't busy, so I don't understand the long wait. I have not paid my part and expressed my dissatisfaction. On the way out, another couple complained about the food. Don't come back.
We made reservation because that's what the website said to do, well, we get there, no reservations needed. We took a seat, ordered food with appetizers. 45+min later, no food, no refill on drinks. I asked a waiter walking by about the food, and he said he would go check, then he comes right back with our appetizers and then our food.. food is delicious, the prices are a little high.. good for one time visit, IMO ?
This is more of a sports bar not so much Steakhouse as far as atmosphere. It was really loud and there is no separation. If you go you will be in the bar area. Dress is way casual. Jeans and a t-shirt are fine. We arrived 10 minutes prior to our reservation time of 6pm. No one was at the hostess podium nor was anyone in the reception area. After waiting for about 5 minutes I ventured into the restaurant to find the hostess who was very busy and I was told to go back to the reception area to wait to be seated. We were seated about 10 minutes after our reservation time. Food was good and fair steakhouse prices. Nothing particularly stood out food wise. The waitress was very kind and hospitable. They had run out of bread bowls so we were disappointed we couldn't try the artichoke dip and while we could have tried the clam chowder we opted not to since it wasn't going to be in a bread bowl. Personal preference on that. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the prime rib. My filet was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The prime rib on the other hand wasn't so great. For dessert we ordered the creme brulee and chocolate chip pazookie. The creme brulee was very eggy but okay if you like flan. That's what it reminded me of. The pazookie was way under cooked and was more like cake batter. I'd go back maybe during lunch or breakfast to see if that's any better.
This place is very nice, has views and the food is very delicious. The Mac and the cheese is phenomenal and the Portebello mushroom dinner is great even if you are not a vegetarian! It is a bit expensive, but you pay for quality and location. We're coming back to brunch!!
