Restaurant bewertenGreat food and beer! We have a salad and a Buddha bowl and really the best root beer I've ever had. A great stop when you visit Miner Straße in Yreka
I visited Etna Brewery and Taphouse last night, like I did business in Yreka, CA this week. It is a beautiful brick fed space in the historic part of downtown Yreka. The lighting was more than reasonable and tasteful art tasted the walls that, combined, added to the comfortable and welcoming feeling of taphouse. Allow me to take a moment to complicate the service before I proceed. The two bartenders/servers (they both have double duty) were exemplary. They were friendly, efficient, attentive and happy to answer my questions. To the beer! As a big fan of Craft Beer, I have toured her breasts eagerly. I started with her award-winning Old Grind Porter, next was her seasonal Bitter Clinger Scotch Ale, followed by the XX IPA and finished with the seasonal Oatmeal Stout. The two stood outs were the XX with its extreme hops forward taste and the Oatmeal Stout, which I felt richly satisfying. The bitter Clinger Scotch Ale, for me, was a bit shy when I prefer a braver character. For my meal I chose the special of the night that was an Open Faced Chili Burger. It was well played with my selected page Green Salad shared the record with the Chili Burger. A pleasant surprise was the addition of Bleu cheese bites in the Bleu cheese dressing. My only disappointment (and the reason why I was 4 stars instead of 5) was the meat patty in my burger. It was very dense, rather hard, as if it were overcooked and then reheated. I would have preferred that they offer the burger chef at the temperature as many restaurants do. The chili over the burger was tasty and a hot spice fan I requested and was delivered immediately two types of hot sauces that helped to satisfy my taste buds. Overall a pleasant experience with great service and friendly patrons. I hope to return.
This place was a brewery back when they used to be called irrigation holes. Come here to get a great Yreka vibe and a historical taste of mountain life. The food is good and the beer is drinkable. Your stouts and red alarm were my favorite if you remember correctly. The waitress was funny and attentive, except for a person who was preoccupied with her phone. We will come back
Great service! Great relaxed atmosphere! The burgers and hot sandwiches are fantastic. I wish they had more open hours. Fries on the menu would also be super
Salads were OK, but iceberg. The IPA was OK. They brew rather high ABV beers, which seems to appeal to a walking distance crowd, so if you're at the Best Western, you can walk back to your room no prob.
