Relaxed, friendly local gay bar with no pretenses, patrons tend to be of the mature crowd. It is a leather bar, but nothing too scary for the faint-hearted, with a video/play area off the back patio. The owner, David, is a nice man who is welcoming and will actually come up and chat with you: . Great juke box, great food items at a reasonable price are available, including a special night for steaks. I've enjoyed my several visits there, and will be returning.

Chuck is an excellent bartender and was extremely friendly to us. The bar food is good, though the drinks are on the pricey side. I'll definitely come back when I'm in town!

Be cautious about how you manage your tips. I slipped a $5 bill with my empty beer bottle, and it never came back. When I asked the bartender, Rick, about it, he said a friend of mine had covered it. I asked my friend sitting next to me—both of us were sober—and he said no, he didn't buy me a drink. It turned out that someone else nearby had bought it for me, but by then it was too late. I never got my change back, and after that, the bartender seemed to avoid our section.

This is a local male bar with a relaxed atmosphere and friendly patrons. The drink prices are excellent. If you're looking for a good meal, the Sunday steak dinner is definitely worth a visit.
