Romano Panini - York

This charming family-owned restaurant has a lovely Italian atmosphere and is spotlessly clean. I tried the meatball sandwich and it was deliciously juicy and filling.

The restaurant has an unfortunate name because they do not serve paninis. I had hoped to find a nicely crisped and flattened panini sandwich, but unfortunately they do not offer them on the menu.

I found this gem of a spot that serves amazing Italian sandwiches. Ever since I stumbled upon it, I haven't been to any other restaurant in Newmarket for this type of cuisine.

Though you can order take out here, it is also a great place to eat in. Their sandwiches are very reasonably priced and are very good. They have fresh salads, pasta and pizza. The veal sandwich is my favourite, and any number of toppings is included in the price. The staff are very friendly, and make you feel welcome.

Authentic Italian panini's. Good homemade sauce!. Went a few times already and haven't been let down. Always quality food being prepared fresh daily!
