Merns Place - Yarmouth

The food was great and the service right on. The place is a dump on the wrong side of the tracks but safe and popular with locals.

We stopped in for dinner and my wife had the roast beef with gravy and potatoes, she said it was ok. I had a clubhouse and it was very good. We both had desserts, my wife had chocolate pie and I had peanut butter. They were excellent, home made with love and care. Our waitress was very pleasant and provided great service.

Merns is a little restaurant in South end of Yarmouth. The service is friendly and the food is very good and plentiful. Merns has the best fish in town!

My nephew's favourite coconut pie in Yarmouth. We enjoyed the fried clams and chips too! We are in but you can pick up take out too. Go early before they run out of some of the menu items.

Do NOT plan on a small meal! The servings are huge and SO DELICIOUS! The service was tops and the atmosphere all you could ask for from a diner. Would strongly recommend
