Restaurant bewertenMy partner has booked a table here in the februar, the day before valentinstag. we often travel south to the region and always try somewhere else. especially if they have their own vegan menu. that always gets an additional star of me when a cook has gone to meet for the nutritional requirements to eat the preferences. at the arrival we were warmly welcomed by the maître d' and shown on our table with a view of the damm. the restaurant has a beautiful ambiente and low lighting and is best suited for couples dining. it has a very formal feeling that automatically sets up my expectations. we ordered champagner while we decided what to order....read more
It's a real tasty bite. very luxurious and prestige. we really enjoyed a set menu of zucchini suppe, brot and truffle butter, grilled hapuka and vegetables, Brussels spirts and pear french pane tart with Chantilly cream. everything was the best quality and beautifully combined. the house wines were good. both waiters were very professional and personal recommended.
First the pictures online do not do this place any justity. the location is beautiful, the environment is quiet and the accommodation is exceptional. the restaurant is located at the end of the lake and at the evening it is so beautiful to observe the reflection of the light on the mirror as water. the decor is clean simple and unfussy. the menu is locally inspired. we stared with the seafood tortellini, which was beautiful. we followed with the seafood plate that was stunning. this was fresh nothing with beautiful matching sauces. we finished with the brûlée, which was the best I had outside france. the staff was beautiful. breakfast was nice, the morning light on...read more
We visited cape lodge again for our jubilee celebration. Of course, this is the best choice if we are not gone. we found that cape lodge has increased its standard both in food and service. all in all, another wonderful meal in margaret river!
Came here for a romantic dinner with my partner on a Friday night. We had the option of degustation $195 or 4 course meal for $120. My partner and I chose the four course meal. I was so filled by the time I finished my main that I don't know how I would have gone if we opted for the degustation. For starters my partner and I had the trout and the prawn dishes. For starters we had the cod and the duck salad. For main we had goose and pink snapper. For dessert we had bread and butter pudding and chocolate mousse. The highlight for us were the trout and prawns. The goose was too rich for me that my partner ended up eating the most. I found the bread and butter a little dry for my...read more
