Restaurant bewertenOrdered the Calamari, Rubbery, tasted like it had been in the freezer too long cutlets with Caesar Salad and mashed potatoes terrible, no flavors, breading just tasted like the fryer oil is never changed. Salad had no flavour. Potatoes were plain. Chicken burger with fries and Caesar salad. Burger was gross, tasted like fish and old oil. Hated paying the $67 for what we couldn't even finish. Advise you not to go. I am a Foodie and I love my food and I know what is good..5his was not.
We were given a recommendation to this restaurant. We are glad that we checked it out! The menu was varied, the service was good and the food portions were generous. We did not feel rushed. The chicken dumpling soup was super on a cold wintery day. The Greek salad did not have enough feta cheese so we had to ask for some more. The server was quite happy to do that for us and then gave us a generous portion on the side. The quesadilla platter was generous tasty. The root beer was not watered down as it is in some restaurants. We would return to this spot.
The food was good and reasonably priced. The servers are friendly though they were quite busy that time.
Yesterday was a very long long day. It started at 5 am with a road trip to my old family church and a grave yard mass. Close to the end of the long trip we got to Wynyard, we didn't know where to eat it was after 6 and Saskatoon was still about 2 hours away. We settled on this place. As we picked out our meals, we watched a group with a birthday, very nice dessert with a sparkler. I got the ribs, very very good. my niece got the shrimp ceaser salad. Everything was very good. It was a great meal, then we went on our way.
Have been in 4 or 5 times and while nothing WOWs you it has been ok to good. Defiantly large portions that you don't leave hungry but does seem like a bunch of items are shifting to pre made hopefully that us only for the winter season.
