Restaurant bewertenNice to meet the new landlord, so nice to see this local pub open again! Rebellion beers on the train, and double up on spirits for a pound, and a fab beer garden.
Very friendly cozy little pub with a warm atmosphere, the new management are lovely and the pizzas are absolutely delicious
A bad example for a pub! Storm Ciara so we thought we'd go to our local. dirty Poor standard of decoration and cleanliness. Asked when they would start the fire was told; when it's cold! There were no customers. The barmaid wanted...to serve my gin and tonic in a short glass. Ale was cloudy and gone! Not surprised that this pub was empty and the other 2 pubs nearby were packed!
Had brunch' 2 mornings, Saturday and Sunday 19 20 October and 1 evening meal Saturday 19 October. Food was good although through no fault of the staff atmosphere not to our liking all the time. Hayleigh (hope that's spelt correctly was really good in...dealing with this and made up for any detraction. Thanks.
The Horse and Jockey is a great village pub. Drinks are reasonably priced and there was live music when we went on a Friday night, which was very entertaining.
