Restaurant bewertenWell well its very over priced with jackets with chill costing over a tenner, wraps £9.00, open sandwich £11.00 we had two baguettes which was pale not crusty at all very doughy and two ciabattes with not much brie and no cranberries sauce. a few chips in a small bowl coffee not nice at all . it all came to over £50.00 Wish we went over the road to the craft shop much nicer food and a lot cheaper and you can drink the coffee. Used to be good here don 't know what 's gone wrong
First time back since last Autumn. Cannot understand the very negative comments that have been made as we had a very pleasant lunch. Clean tables, friendly helpful staff and good food. What more can you ask maybe slightly lower prices. My pork chop was excellent, though two varieties of cabbage with the roast potatoes wouldn't be my choice of vegetable given the opportunity. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her butter chicken. We do miss the carvery that used to be available before the lockdown but the menu gives plenty of choice so should suit anyone. We will certainly be back though as we live over an hour away it is not somewhere we visit frequently.
I came to the Valley whilst visiting some family in Evesham, I went round the shops and then eventually came to the cafe my family sat down whilst I queued for food I was stood in the queue for the hot carvery and was greeted by a very unpleasant young lady who had no manners at all. I then moved on to the pay station where I was greeted by another young lady who again was so rude I just wanted to walk out!! No respect for customers and their customer service was shocking. The only positive is the food was very delicious.
I visited the restraunt on 23/03 as I had heard lots of good reviews about it, I got to the tills to pay for my food and was greeted by a very rude girl, I didn’t go out of my way to pay money and visit this place to feel uncomfortable and un welcome, she didn’t even seem to care about the job in hand, I shall not be visiting again.
I took my 90-year-old grandmother out for lunch as an early Mother's Day treat. It was a busy Saturday, but we had no trouble finding a table. We decided on our orders - I chose the quiche and my Nan chose a sausage roll. The cashier asked if we wanted them hot or cold, and we requested them hot. Unfortunately, when our meals arrived, they were warm on the outside and cold on the inside. We asked for some salad cream, which came in a brown tapas dish and had a thick consistency, making it difficult for my Nan to put on her salad. The waiter quickly rectified the temperature issue with our meals and apologized. The service from the waiter (a young man with glasses) was excellent and he handled the situation well. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I'm not sure when I will return to this restaurant.
