Restaurant bewertenHere's the bomb! The service is always good here and the food is always great. Your sauces are great. I had only two of them, but both are GREAT! The pasta is GREAT! The appetizers are all right. Nothing special when it comes to the starters. Even though I always ask for no ice cream in my drink, it was still cold as hell. The Ravioli is GREAT! The menu says they do it in the house and I could believe it because it is very good. They have cheese, beef and chicken ravioli. The sauces supplement the size because it SOOO GOOD! Sitting is good, but it is a bit too dark inside. You can ask them to light up the atmosphere when it's too dark. People are friendly. Good parking. Not too many bad things I can say about this place. The food is so good that I forgot to take pictures of my duck when it first came to the table. Everything at the table was good. If you want Italian food, you must first try to set a scale. If you did not try this place, but have eaten in an Italian restaurant, then eat here to see if it is better than your favorite place.
Clean, quiet, easy parking, attentive staff. Made from scratch old school Italian. The Butter Pasmasian Bread Dip will hang you in.
I work throughout the Middle West and dinee over 100 days a year in the best restaurants in Detroit, Chicago, Cincinati, etc. I ate in Magdaleno Ristorante 22 times 2021 and between my employees and me tried every item on the menu (together with a fair share of different wines). Chef Ernesto has created the best combination of taste, atmosphere and service that I have met so far. I have never felt welcome and taken care of in a restaurant and the food is consistently phenomenal. The menu is full of taste, but never too rich. I drove over 50 miles a way to eat here at least 5 occasions. The anticipation builds on a fever pitch on the drive while we discuss our potential selection of dishes and wines (which know the menu of heart). The fever breaks while we enjoy in and comfortably 2 hours of fine food, wine and conversation. The return is filled with coveted murmured exclamation about this dish or that "better than ever, but how? It was the best.” If you are in the larger Detroit area, I recommend a pilgrimage to this gem. If you do, I assure you, as Kipling said, “a full gorge and a deep sleep”.
I have my father for his 70. Birthday brought with my wife to this great place. I had found this place one day by chance and took my wife. She loved it! After two years she decided to go for dinner at last. (She was freaked out for Covid) We had the best time and our waitress Andrea was excellent. Great humor, like us and that made the night special.
First time there and we had the three course brunch. It was amazing!! We are gluten free, so we couldn’t have the French toast, which looked delicious. Their GF menu options where huge and we can’t wait to go try them! Service was spot on! Highly recommend!
