Omahoma Bobs Bbq - Wooster

My husband saw a You Tube Story on this place and he loves bbq so we took a day trip over there for lunch. It is located right in downtown wooster so street parking. The menu is very large with lots of options. I ordered the half chicken w/ mushrooms Mac Cheese. The Hubs ordered the pulled pork sandwich and fries but he wanted hushpuppies and they were sold out. We sat down and when the food came out they brought me ribs instead of chicken, the employee was very confused but the owner swooped in and corrected the issue right away. Husband said the pulled pork was pretty good, the fries were just frozen fries so skip those. The half chicken had a great smokey flavor but was a tad on the dry side. The mac and cheese was average and the mushrooms were very good. The BBQ sauce was a sweet bbq and it was very good.The portions are on the small side as are the side dishes. I do commend the owner she made the issue right and even brought us out a free egg roll for the mishap. She was also very present and training the employees well. The Food was pretty good if I was in the area we would stop again.

Omahoma Bob's has become a staple for our multiple motorcycle trips to Wooster every year. We are treated like family and are known by the owners. Great food, good service, and an eclectic atmosphere.

If I could I would give more than five stars. The food was amazing their sweet heat bbg sauce was delicious. I will go back again. Best place in wooster. Easy!!!!!

This place is delicious! My sister and I stopped by after heading home from a girl’s trip! The food service staff treated us like family. They were very kind and helpful. Sitting outside in the square was very nice on the warm summer day! Everything we tasted was delicious! The baked beans were my favorite, with the salt pepper rubbed brisket coming in a close second! This place also has two types of Mac cheese (my sister and I each got one and tried each other’s) a white smoked Mac which was absolutely incredible, and a classic Mac which was delicious! Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area!
