The Parkview - Winter Park

Great food, excellent staff, Mattie has the best wine recommendation in the city. Always a great time.

I have the parkview for bites and happy hour and decided to stop after one of the Christmas events in the park. They were busy but we were lucky and found a table and got great service from our server (Did not get their name, but it was great for such a busy night! . They have a good selection of wine abd each of us decided to try a flight different. We have the gala for sparkling wines, the birdwatcher for crispy and dry white wines, the connoisseur for taxis and a glass of their Oregon Chardonnay. It was a good way to try other guys, but the only one I enjoyed was the Chilean Sauvignon blanc. From the Reds my BIL 1 and the sparkling of Prosecco and brut-champagne liked. Not bad, but next time we see what we decide to try a glass or another flight?

Parkview is a great place for a quick bite and refreshing drink. Food is creative, interesting and surprisingly good. Especially for a wine bar. Fair small dining area and only high-top table with the exception of a few lounge type areas that are ideal for diving and visiting, but not so great for eating.

We usually come here every time we visit Winter Park. Usually we have no problem that our waiters come. Today we waited about 30 minutes until nobody showed up. But I noticed there was only one waiter for the whole place. Long story short, we had to go.

This place has THE BEST beer and wine selection. The owner was very thorough in helping me find several great wines on retail. He also recommended a great beer to try which I loved! Thanks as always and keep up the good work!
