Restaurant bewertenGreat historical guesthouse in the heart of a fantastic city centre!! The rooms are so comfortable with a large atmosphere. We had a bedroom and a separate living room. Everything's so clean. Breakfast was excellent! There are old fashion cabinets and decor donuts so enjoy a nostalgic place. Snacks are always available for day or night in the kitchen. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to stay again!!
This is a beautiful old place right in the center of things in the winter garden. Squeaky clean and the staff are very friendly. The bed was very comfortable. It was great to walk in all shops and restaurants and rent a bike nearby. The hotel a little over decorated for my taste regarding the amount of stuff in rooms, but the historical charm is indisputable. Breakfasts are great (and GF friendly) and a fun place to meet other people visiting the area. Definitely splurge on the cooking table restaurant below. It's worth it! If you are a very light sleeper, ask a room on the back of the hotel as it is quite loud on the front of the hotel. They seem to fire the music at the well at 8:00 a.m. every day, regardless of which day it is. If you are sensitive to fragrances/feeded flavors, this could not be the place for you. Smell's very strong of something like caramel in the halls. It was a bit of headache/constipation induced for me, but if you are not sensitive to these things, no problem! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and recommended.
Beautiful stay. Especially friendly service. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful unique rooms. Water pressure was low for the shower, but the rest of the positive was formed more than for it. Enjoy the walk through downtown conservatory with restaurants and shops.
The Edge Water Hotel in Wintergarten, Florida has such a cute, well-preserved vintage feeling. One can say that much love and time has been placed in its historical value in such a great state. Also the location was perfect for our travel plans to Disney World. It made a very short trip from the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the perfect size for my family. I loved how to use prepared baskets with our towels and shower items for us. The staff there was very friendly and accommodating. They really made the feeling of the atmosphere welcome for us and were always so appealing to be around. Seriously such a great bed breakfast. By far one of my favorites, to stay so far. I will definitely come back to stay here and recommend it to others.
Everything about this hotel is amazing. It's hands down THE cleanest place I've ever slept in, the room was spacious and comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well, the bathroom had a tub which was deep enough to have a nice hot bath, the staff is absolutely the most professional and courteous group I've ever encountered. I was told that the staff owns and operates the hotel, which to me made it even more special. It's their home as well, and that is the feeling you get when you step into the common/dining areas. It feels like you're in someone's home but in the 1920s/30s. There are complimentary snacks and beverages in the dining/kitchen area which are available 24/7 including a variety of coffees, teas, water, chips, yogurt, snack bars, candy, etc. The staff makes you feel SO welcome and as I watched them interact with various guests throughout my stay, they were consistently the same with every guest. All of the guests I saw looked very happy/relaxed. And that hot breakfast!!! Absolutely delicious, made to order, it is not a buffet style. You make a reservation as to what time you'd like to eat breakfast, then when you arrive to the dining area they have a menu which you order whatever you want from (all included). I had fluffy scrambled eggs, a generous portion of bacon and a huge Belgian waffle that was the best I've ever tasted. This is the place to go if you want to feel like you've stepped into another era. The location is awesome too, downtown Winter Garden is such a pretty little place to be. Close enough that the theme parks are a short drive away, but far enough outside of Orlando to escape the madness of the crowds. I'll definitely be going back here!
