Restaurant bewertenTCB brewing was our second stop on a micro brewery tour my buddy and I just started. We had heard that TCB had a great pizza, so we went there to taste it as well as its delicious beer. I wish I could give 4 1/2 stars, but 4 do because they need to improve a little bit. First the good stuff. TCB brewed some of the best beers in Winnipeg. They give torque Brewing a run for their money. However, your line room is beyond and beyond. With more food offerings than their competitors. The pizza was as good as her reputation, the only problem was that the toppings were?t evenly distributed over the entire pizza. In other words, some slices hardly had blows, while others were flush with them. The handcuffed dough was lovely. I also liked how they marked their flying paddles. They use magnets opposite the 4 ounces glasses and put a bottle cap, which the beer you drink opposite. One thing that was somewhat surprising was that the customer is needed to go to the bar and get their own beer and order their food. Not much. Because food is brought to you after completion. It's a little surprising, but that's a cockroom. Very nice ambience and we loved the fact that we could see the brewery through the glass windows. I'm going back there!
Great selection of beer on tap. Menu is mostly pizza, few appetizers and salads. The pizza is OK, I think it used to be Tommy?s Pizza but not sure what it is now, but it?s definitely changed. If your not a huge pizza fan, I?d skip it?. Friendly staff, large amount of space with lots of seating. Patio. On-site merchandise and beer to go!
WOW! I?m lucky enough to have tried a few of their amazing beers with some friends from Winnipeg previously, but getting it fresh from the source (in larger glasses! and pairing it with the incredible pizza is an out of this world experience! Our group sampled the panne fritto, the BBQ chicken pizza, Manitoba meat lovers pizza, apple Gouda pizza, and the pierogi pizza. The BBQ chicken pizza is in the top three, best pizzas I?ve ever had in my life. If I were choosing my last meal I think I?d go with the BBQ chicken pizza, washed down by the Bluebeary Ale. I need a job, or a second home in Winnipeg so I can enjoy this establishment more often!
Really great place for casual drinking and pizza! Transcanada brewery have so many great options for drinks, including core flights and DIY flights. For those who do not like beer they carry wine as well. Their kitchen is small but they have a fire oven for some great pizza flavors including fig, perogy, classic pepperoni, and etc. They have quite a lot of sitting areas and sometimes live music too. Highly recommend giving it a try and also supporting local brewery!
Amazing beer selection! We had a few flights to start and were impressed by the whole beer we tasted. The pizza was delicious, we had three at the table. We had vegan cheese on Veggie one, which was an amazing option
