The Gort Dining Room - Winnipeg

Always great food and service. and the price of breakfast specialties can not be beaten.

My wife and I were in the viscount gort several times. we stayed this year twice with all the precautions for covid. we find the staff very polite, helpful, welcome and friendly. the personal is like an extension of the family. we were impressed by the way the Covid facilities were located and placed and we were new in a safe building. we do not hesitate to recommend the viscount gort as hotel, stay in and dine in restaurant or lounge.

The Mother’s Day brunch was planned poorly. No scrambled eggs and what they did serve as an egg dish was watery. The potatoes were the cheap cubed frozen ones, not even home made or fresh. There was chicken in some spicy sauce and meatballs, both of which were cold. Who has that as part of a breakfast brunch! Very poor planning on their part.

Having eaten in numerous hotel dining rooms, the Gort Din8ng Room is by far one of the best eateries I have eaten in. The service was quick, the food was good. Excellent breakfast choices.

The staff were very lovely and helpful with out being judgemental. My diet for Celiac's disease is sometimes difficult in a restaurant but this one was very thoughtful. The staff made EVERY effort to be helpful each time I was there.
