Omg - great sushi at ridiculously low prices. They have an amazing lunch box selection but we always end up ordering al a carte. The sushi is fresh and you can watch the chefs as they prepare it!

Food was fresh. Service was good. Prices were reasonable. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Nice location.

This place is a decent option for sushi in Winnipeg that comes recommended by a number of locals.The sushi is well prepared. All of the cuts were well done. There were a few of our selections where the fish both tasted and smelled a little 'less fresh' than I usually care for, but overall our whole set of selections were reasonably fresh and tasty. The menu selections in my sushi experience were pretty standard and didn't offer a lot of creative variety or flair in comparison with a number of sushi places not only in Winnipeg but in other North American cities.

This is one sushi restaurant that hasn't changed much in many years! Sometimes it's nice to see a restaurant sticking to the same old! Always enjoyed the patio in the summer time & the fresh sushi rolls! The menu has stayed the same along with the prices!! Many sushi places have become so expensive.. but this one has stayed very reasonable! This keeps people coming back! Every time I come in here for take out or dining in, it is always busy! Sushi rolls are a nice size and always taste fresh. Will keep coming back for the consistency!

Love Sushi Ya! Great, friendly staff. Cozy environment. Lots of selection to choose from. The sushi is always fresh and delicious! Great price!
