Restaurant bewertenI was excited to try qdoba and took the family out. We irdered 2 burritos and a taco salad. Id say its marginally better then taco del mare. You do get free quacamole though so thats good.
Such great food here, and very reasonably priced. We frequent this place often and always have the absolute best service. The staff always goes above and beyond. I can only assume the company takes great care of their employees :)
There are some pretty negative reviews for this place, but I really enjoyed my burrito. Liked also that guacamole in burrito wasn't extra cost. Plus great that they serve craft beer - half pints brewing. Also have a coke freestyle machine which would be fun. Finally staff were very friendly and helpful. I would come again.
The problem with Mexican style food is how often we settle for bland, uninspired, terrible food. That is Qdoba. My burrito contained mystery chicken that although stewed over time in juices was cold and dry. The beans were a flavourless mess. Other fixings were filler with nothing of note beyond they addressed my hunger but not my cravings for a good burrito. Yeah, I know if I wanted something of quality then I should have gone someplace else when taking it at face value. My bad but I've had decent fast Mexican fair and what I was served was terrible.
My husband and I eat at the Brandon Qdoba often, so we knew the menu. Great gluten free options and quick service. Staff very friendly and efficient. One staff member erred in stating that "all of the food was gluten free". I knew that it wasn't so checked with another member - and he was excellent. All staff was friendly. The big concern was the washroom: It appeared rather unkept so I was leery about using it but really needed to. I'll start by saying that I am under around 135 pounds, so not a heavy person. I sat lightly on one side of the toilet, and the whole seat shifted....then suddenly....to my complete shock (and horror) the whole seat came right off. I darn near fell on the floor! So glad I didn't (it was dirty), but I did have to clean up a bit. I was so shook up and embarrassed! I looked around when I left the washroom to see if any staff member was available to speak to privately but didn't see an opportunity. Sooooo utterly embarrassed! And relieved that I didn't wet my pants! No word of a lie! I am sure that some people will get a chuckle out of this, as I am now....it is one of those "I can't believe that just happened" moments. To the owners/staff: please ensure that when you clean, the seats are tightened. I would really hate to hear of anyone getting hurt. How embarrassing it would be to go the hospital with an injury (like a broken or dislocated hip) by falling off of the porcelain throne!
