Restaurant bewertenStaff was helpful and very friendly, the service was fast and as I like thin crust pizza it was great,
Went for lunch four people. Restaurant was nice, clean, and well laid out. Service was very good thanks Jessica. Pizzas were better than some other places in town, but not up to the standard they claim. They do not have bacon (trying to...stay authentic Italian) and my pizza was cold. They had homemade spicy oil oil, which was cool. If I return it is for the service and location, not really the food.
Four of us ate at Carbone Pizza in the Westwood area Mar 23 2017. It is located in a small mall, so lots of parking. There are two things that stood out to me. Firstly the taste. We ordered two pizzas, the Tyrol and the...New White. Very different pizzas but both good tasting. The mushrooms on the Tyrol were tasty. The New White had lots of taste with a white based sauce. Secondly, the young lady serving us came by on a regular basis to see if we needed anything and brought our drink refill right on time. (I did not get her name, but shorter dark hair put up top). We also had a tortellini soup which was tasty, as well as a greek salad. Thanks Carbone.
Booked through Open Table and phoned to confirm details (preferred seating, birthday, etc)... gal on phone claimed they did not have reservation, glad I called. When we showed, gal could not find reservation again. Pizza was consistent with a previous visit, except pizza temp cool...though. No birthday dessert like other restaurants, like the Keg for instance. Atmosphere was blah, and we were only table there, waitress was very good and attentive, even brought drink refills before there was needs. I like DJs pizza way better
We started with an appetizer of Hummus and Bruschetta with Pita Chips. The Bruschetta was good but we found the White Bean Hummus to have not a lot of flavour. For our main we shared a large Peppino pizza. It was very good but it...seemed to be lacking on the toppings of Proscuitto and had instead a lot of Arugula on top to cover the absence. It was a good idea to try it once but I don't think we'll be back, as we think there are better pizza places in the city.
